Marvel Art Scale Deluxe Statue 1/10 Nova 41 cm
Marvel’s Human Rocket gets a new statue by Iron Studios!
In an emblematic battlefield beyond time and space, amidst the ruins of a temple built to honor Lady Death, the space hero known as the Human Rocket hovers above a rubble of rocks with jagged stones and sculpted skulls. Wearing his altered and enhanced dark, blue, and gold Centurion Prime uniform, with clenched fists energized by the strength of a unique sentient mind artificially created from a living supercomputer, he joins a pantheon of great heroes to confront the titan Thanos and his Infinity Gauntlet. Iron Studios presents the Nova – Infinity Gauntlet Diorama – Deluxe Art Scale 1/10 statue, featuring the champion of Xandar and Earth, produced for the first time by Iron Studios, presenting the superhero member of the New Warriors, the Defenders, the Champions of Xandar, the Secret Avengers, the Nova Corps, the Guardians of the Galaxy…The Man called Nova!
Iron Studios also bring the regular version of the first Xandarian centurion Nova – Infinity Gauntlet Diorama – Art Scale 1/10 on a smaller base, composed of a rubble of rocks with jagged stones.
A member of the intergalactic military and police force known as Nova Corps, originally an exploration group from the planet Xandar, the source of Nova Corps’ power is called the Nova Force, an unlimited energy generated by a living computer called the Xandarian Worldmind. When the last surviving member of the Nova Corps, Rhomann Dey, was dying, he selected the young high school student from New York called Richard Rider to succeed him. Richard received the uniform and powers of a Nova Centurion, but few instructions on how to use them. Calling himself Nova, Rider became a superhero, fighting supervillains and teaming up with heroes like pider-Man and Thor. Initially, he hid his double identity, but later revealed it to his family. Rider discovered Dey’s ship orbiting Earth and used it to travel to Xandar where he joined the Xandarian war against the Skrulls. With the help of Rom the Space Knight, the Skrulls were defeated. Returning to Earth, Rider was discharged and relinquished his powers. Later, Xandar was destroyed by the space pirate Nebula, and with the help of the hero Night Thrasher, Rider regained his powers and joined the New Warriors superhero team. Rider witnessed the reformation of the Nova Corps and was given the rank of Centurion Prime. Assigned to Earth, Rider faced the challenge of balancing his life as a member of the Nova Corps and the New Warriors but left the group when he was summoned to Xandar to confront the Annihilation Wave, a force from the Negative Zone led by Annihilus. Nova’s powers come from an energy source called the Nova Force, an unlimited energy generated by a living computer called the Xandarian Worldmind, which grants superhuman abilities including flight, superhuman strength, speed, and durability, as well as the ability to absorb energy directed against him and release it as pulses and beams.
Nova debuted in The Man Called Nova #1, written by Marv Wolfman and illustrated by John Buscema in 1976. Wolfman intended the young character to be a tribute to Stan Lee and Steve Ditko’s Spider-Man, following his humble working-class roots and alter ego. Revealed in April on the Inside Iron Studios Day, check out the Thanos Deluxe statue, revealed at SDCC 2023, and Thor first seen on the Ultra panel at CCXP 2023, and Captain America revealed in February. With Pre-Order available, stay tuned for many other legendary Marvel Comics characters in new Iron Studios statues in this collection
